Anne Marie isn’t quite starting from scratch. She’s seen a lot of miles already as a road-trip machine, and has been pretty lived in. Before the temperatures dropped last fall, we were able to disassemble most of the wooden construction inside the bus, but we left the wood inside to keep it out of the elements through the winter. Well, it’s time to move it out. I bought a 12′ x 20′ canopy to serve as an outside preproom for work going on inside, and to keep rain from canceling work days.
It’s a lot of room, and will do very well for our purposes. We moved much of the crap inside out under the canopy. While much of it is likely trash, I’m hoping we can reuse much of the original construction material. Progress! Before, and after.
The veggie tanks and captains chairs still need to come out, but we’re moving ahead. This weekend will hold more work for us.
